Conversion of Casual Professional Staff
Casual Professional staff and casual English Language Centre teachers please be aware that you may be eligible to apply for conversion to continuing or fixed-term employment.
In accordance with Clause 20.10 of the English Language Centre Agreement 2010 â€“ 2012, and Clause 20.8 of the Professional Staff Agreement 2010-2012, we advise that eligible casual staff and teachers may apply to have their casual employment converted to continuing or fixed-term in April and October of each year.
For further information on casual conversion, including eligibility, please refer to your relevant Agreement available from the Human Resources website under Benefits & Conditions, Enterprise Bargaining.
Applications for conversion should be submitted to either the Director of Studies (ELC) or your Head of Budget Centre, who will liaise with Human Resources on the issue.
